The Solar System is the star system of Sol, our sun, with all the solar satellites.

The solar planets, the nine planets of the Solar System are as follows (in order of increasing distance from Sol): Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
